Star City - Gentile offers tours and an outlet featuring paperweights manufactured in a wide variety of colors and designs, each individually made using the ancient art of the "off-hand" process. Visitors may view this interesting handiwork and the hand cutting of crystal giftware from beginning to end. Please call ahead for tours.

Location: Exit 155 (Star City) from I-79 to W.V. 7 E. and U.S. 19 S., over bridge. Left at first stop light, one block to University Ave., left down hill to Industrial Ave., then right one half block, on left.

Open year-round, Outlet: Mon.-Fri., 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Sat., 8 a.m. to noon.
Plant tours: Mon.-Fri., 8 to 11 a.m. and 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.

HOMER LAUGHLIN CHINA COMPANY

Creators of the brightly colored, highly collectible Fiesta® dinnerware, the Homer Laughlin China Company re-introduced the popular line in 1986 marking its golden anniversary. Millions of pieces were sold annually during its first 40 years of production. Visitors may see production of china and make purchases of Fiesta® and restaurant china seconds in the factory outlet.

Location: off W. Va. Rt. 2 in Newell, 50 mi. N. of Wheeling, 40 mi. N.W. of Pittsburgh.

Open year-round, Mon.-Sat., 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Sun., noon to 5 p.m. Closed major holidays and Sundays during Jan.-Mar.
